11-Manhattan, United States
It is widely known that America hosts some of the
biggest and most elaborate holiday celebrations – so head to Manhattan in New
York City.
Feel the spirt of the festive season everywhere you
go; from horse-drawn carriage rides in Central Park to the lighting of the tree
at Rockefeller Centre and the bright displays all over the city.
12-Quebec City, Canada
Experience a quintessentially Québécois Christmas,
with the historic Quebec old town and its cobbled streets, lined with sparkling
lights and cosy, traditional festive cheer.
With a good serving of snow to sled in and delectable
food available from restaurants on every street corner, you can rest assured
that Christmas in Quebec is going to be wonderful.

Have a fairytale Christmas holiday in Lapland, the

Visit Urho Kekkonen National Park and ride a sled
pulled by reindeer (yes, you heard that right!) or even stay in an igloo.!
14-Edinburgh, Scotland
With its rich topography, consisting of sweeping
hills, mountains and deep valleys, a little dusting of snow really sets the
scene for Christmas in Scotland.
In the capital city of Edinburgh, you can expect warm
fireplaces at Balmoral, beautiful bagpipe renditions of ‘Amazing Grace’ at the
Sir Walter Scott Monument, as well as a firework show that spreads from
Edinburgh Castle to the Palace of Holyroodhouse.
15-Old San Juan, Puerto Rico
If you fancy something a bit warmer but still want
the Christmas cheer, then visit Old San Juan. Celebrations start from 2 weeks
before Christmas Day.!
You can leave the scarves and gloves at home, for Old
San Juan in Puerto Rico has a very tropical temperature, so you’ll be surfing
the waves at Rincon, or eating the traditional pastries, or perhaps drinking
some Coquito, the Puerto Rican take on egg-nog.
