SPECTACULAR
STREET ART
Who says art has to
hang in a gallery.? Some artists are increasingly showing off their amazing
talent on the walls and pavements of our cities. Literally, using the street as
their canvas. Here are some of the most impressive examples we have found.
This colourful 3D chalk drawing
was created at the 'Annual Lake Worth, Florida - Street Painting Festival',
which includes the work of over 400 artists. They transform the boring
pavements into incredible works of art and it is a busy event, attracting over
100,000 visitors each year.
These detailed and realistic paintings
are from a street artist in Malaysia.
The first piece is called motorbike and the second one is called reaching up -
both can be found in George Town on Canon Street.
This bright mural is a piece of
street art found in Bolivia, South America.
Probably the most famous street
artist in the world is Banksy and this is one of his signature works called
'The cleaner', which was painted on Chalk Farm Road in London.
More of Banksy's iconic stencilled
graffiti artwork - the first piece of a police sniper was sprayed on a building
in Maudlin Street, Bristol, where Banksy is based. The second is of Lionel
Messi on a wall in Rome, Italy.
It's hard to miss this striking
green crocodile, which has been painted on an abandoned house in Lisbon. The
artist was either spiderman or had a big ladder.!
This wonderful 3D elephant drawing
was created for the Chiang Mai art festival.

artist and have you been to any amazing street art festivals? Please let us
